The rules for using WPfavs lists, plugins, API, and account features

Welcome to WPfavs, a WordPress plugin manager and bulk installation tool at wpfavs.com. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the WPfavs website, directory, lists, API, and related services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

WPfavs helps WordPress users discover plugins, save curated plugin lists (“WPfavs”), install plugins in bulk, and manage related tools such as bookmarks, snippets, affiliates, and CodeCanyon connections. Questions about these Terms can be sent to [email protected].

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your password, API key, and login methods confidential. You may sign in with email or a supported social provider (Google, Facebook, or GitHub). You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.

We may suspend or close an account that is inaccurate, abused, or used in a way that violates these Terms or applicable law.

3. The Service

WPfavs may include, without limitation:

A public directory of WordPress plugins, categories, and lists
Tools to create, clone, bookmark, and share WPfavs lists
Bulk plugin installation helpers and related documentation
An API for browsing plugins and WPfavs programmatically
Optional paid subscriptions, invoices, and affiliate features
Optional CodeCanyon / Envato account connection

Features may change, and some tools require a signed-in account or a paid plan. We do not guarantee that every plugin, list, or third-party integration will remain available.

4. Your content and lists

You retain ownership of the lists, descriptions, comments, and other material you submit (“User Content”). You grant WPfavs a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and share User Content as needed to operate and promote the Service, including public WPfavs lists.

You represent that you have the rights to the User Content you post and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights or contain unlawful material. We may remove User Content that violates these Terms.

5. Plugins and third-party products

Plugin names, descriptions, ratings, screenshots, and download links often come from WordPress.org, Envato / CodeCanyon, or other third parties. WPfavs does not sell those plugins unless we clearly say so, and we do not control their quality, security, licensing, or updates.

You are responsible for reviewing each plugin’s license, compatibility, and privacy practices before you install it on a website. WPfavs is not liable for damage caused by a third-party plugin or by installing plugins in bulk.

6. API use

If you use the WPfavs API, you must keep your API key private, stay within published rate limits (currently 20 requests per minute unless we agree otherwise), and must not use the API to spam, scrape beyond allowed use, or disrupt the Service. We may rotate, revoke, or limit keys to protect the platform.

7. Subscriptions, billing, and refunds

Some features require a paid subscription processed through Stripe. By subscribing you authorize recurring charges to the payment method you provide until you cancel. Plan details, prices, and billing intervals are shown at checkout and on your profile subscription tab.

You can cancel to stop future renewals. Access may continue through the paid period or any stated grace period. Fees already charged are generally non-refundable except where required by law or where we expressly agree. Taxes may apply.

8. Affiliates

If you join the affiliate program, separate affiliate terms also apply. Commissions, minimum payouts, and cookie windows are described there. We may withhold or reverse commissions that come from fraud, self-referral, or policy violations.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Break the law or infringe intellectual property or privacy rights
Upload malware or attempt to gain unauthorized access
Scrape the Service in a way that overloads or bypasses limits
Impersonate WPfavs or another person
Use the Service to distribute spam or deceptive plugin lists
Resell access to paid features without our written permission

10. Intellectual property

The WPfavs name, logos, site design, and original content are owned by WPfavs or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse them except as allowed by these Terms or with written permission. WordPress is a trademark of the WordPress Foundation. Envato and CodeCanyon are trademarks of their owners.

11. Privacy

How we collect and use personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. Using the Service also means you understand that processing described there.

12. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. Directory data, search results, and installation helpers are provided for convenience and may be incomplete or out of date.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WPfavs and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or business, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD $50 if you have not paid us.

14. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify WPfavs against claims, damages, and expenses arising from your User Content, your websites, your use of third-party plugins, or your breach of these Terms.

15. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits) will survive termination.

16. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. If a change is material, we will try to provide notice through the site or email.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of WPfavs, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in that jurisdiction will have exclusive venue, except where consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
